  • INSPIRED BYI'm always inspired by a long hike in the woods , working in the garden. and travelling. But, my greatest inspiration comes from my crazy, fun son Lucas. Who knew one little person could provide such light.
  • FAVORITE JOBOne of my favorite jobs was working for the GPTMC interviewing local farmers and people involved in the local food movement. It was incredible going to all the local farms and learning about what they do everyday to make this world a better, healthier place. The characters we met along the way were unforgettable.

And of course, building StudioTEN Creative Group from the ground up is one of my most proud achievements. It was built out of passion and I think you can feel it when you are here.
  • FAVORITE MOVIESHearts and Souls with Robert Downey Jr. I know...corny- but so well acted and made such a connection. Loved it.

  • FAVORITE JOBThe summer I worked as a counselor at a Girl Scout Camp when I was 15. I was in charge of the boys group, which consisted of the sons of the other counselors and staff. Ever try to keep 10 boys, ranging from 7 to 12 years old, entertained all day? AND I made $45 for the summer!

  • INSPIRED BYFireflies inspire me. "There are two kinds of light - the glow that illumines, and the glare that obscures." ~ James Thurber. Light is so important in what I do and those magical little guys carry it with them.
  • FAVORITE PROJECTWhile the coolness of shooting in England, France, Bosnia Herzegovina, (yes Bosnia) and Germany does not escape me, my favorite job is a shoot in Delaware County, PA. The creative called for a simple tracking shot down a wooded path. It was a perfect autumn day with bright yellow leaves falling all around. Light cutting through the colored leaves produced a look and feel that made the talented actress glow. It truly was a great moment capitalized on.
  • IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MOREThe music I play in studio while setting up for a shoot is often Melody Gardot.

  • FAVORITE PROJECTMy favorite project recently has been going on tour with a fantastic new rising recording artist. I was her FOH (front of house mixer throughout SE Asia and Europe. My next favorite was being the main audio director for the post 911 tribute world feed on 9-21-01 from the Statue of Liberty.
  • IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MOREThe Beatles music would always be my first choice but - I love all music except bad music. I am a sucker for adventure espionage type films and foreign films. I also dig a well done comedy like Woody Allen flicks. As far as TV goes I enjoy animal shows, and comedies like The Office. I only follow hockey as my sport of choice and also love to play it.

Henry

PROMOTION MANAGER

Over 15 year broadcast veteran and MBA, Henry manages the NBC10 account for StudioTEN. He began his career at WPIX-TV in New York City, and has worked at each of Philadelphia's "Big Three" network stations, earning 9 Emmys for his work.

  • INSPIRED BYReading: I have a voracious appetite for ideas, which often sparks new creative angles in my work.
Music: Sometimes, all you need is a good piece of music to touch off ideas.
  • FAVORITE PROJECTMy favorite piece of work was a simple script I wrote some years back for NBC10 weatherman, Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz. First reason: It was the first time I had "nailed" another person's voice on paper. When we went to production, the script needed no re-writing, and Glenn delivered it as though he'd written it himself. Second reason: It led to my proudest moment as a writer; two years after the spot had stopped airing, a viewer quoted it back to me verbatim, citing that spot as the reason they had become a devoted viewer of NBC10.
  • IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MOREMy television tastes are all about extremes - it's either high-brow or low-brow for me. So, I can say with a straight face that I love shows like "Mad Men" and "The Wire", but I also religiously watch "Cheaters". It's the stuff in the middle (the "CSI's" of the world) that I have no interest in.

  • INSPIRED BYStill discovering what inspires me most. My best ideas come to me when I'm just relaxing watching TV or taking a long drive through the Poconos.
  • FAVORITE PROJECTI love shooting community content-whether it's a promo, psa, or vignette. To be able to talk with people in the neighborhood is amazing and if in the process we help do good by raising funds or help make people more aware of an issue-then all the better!
  • IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MOREMusic is a big part of my life. I enjoy searching out new, creative artists who don't follow the run-of the mill mainstream. That being said, I do have my guilty pleasures. However, over all my favorite musicians are Drake, Kylie Minogue, Rascal Flatts, Counting Crows, and the Dave Mathews Band. When it comes to movies from Independent to box office blockbusters, you're sure to discover my, "dorky side." With such films as; Harry Potter, Halloween (the originals), Gypsy 83, We're The World Mine, the Twilight Series, and just about any cheesy horror flick.

  • INSPIRED BYTravelling and experiencing other cultures. I've been lucky enough to have seen a fair amount of Europe and some of Africa. There's nothing like getting out of the bubble that we live in, and it's eye-opening to see how others live. Pondering my next far-away destination...
  • FAVORITE PROJECTA few of our recent set design projects come to mind.
